The James A Garfield High School Cheerleaders will be caroling in Garrettsville neighborhoods on Sunday, December 8 and 15 from 5:00-7:00 pm. They will be singing to collect monetary donations for our local Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard. Cash or checks will be accepted.
The Garrettsville Police Department will be hosting a Fill A Cruiser Event in front of Save A Lot on December 7, 2019, from 9am until 1pm. We will be collecting non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard. We will also be accepting cash donations that will go the Hiram/Garrettsville Shop with a Cop Program.
The annual Chamber of Commerce Holiday Social is scheduled for December 9th from 6pm-9pm. Please RSVP online at https://forms.gle/eWe7bHG5vsM2bUE4A by November 29th so we can get an accurate count for food. Note there is a $10/person fee to cover event costs this year.

Stop out at Garrettsville Farmers’ Market’s Fall Harvest Market this afternoon!
The Garrettsville Cemetery Association is sponsoring a training session on cleaning old gravestones at the Baptist Cemetery on Maple Ave. on Saturday, October 5 from 10 am until 4 pm.
Tim Foor, who has been working on repairing the broken and tipped stones and obelisks at the Cemetery for several months, will be teaching the correct and safe way to clean the years of dirt and mold off the old markers, without damaging the stone or the lettering.
Brushes that are safe for using on the delicate old stones, as well as a cleaning agent, spray bottles and water will be provided by the Cemetery Association

The NGCC Food Pantry will be closed on Labor Day (Monday, September 2). The next service date for NGCC clients is Wednesday, September 11th.
The NGCC is partnering with Garrettsville Curtains Up Theatre for a night of mystery, intrigue, and sleuthing. Join us for the Murder On Main Street dinner & show on October 12th. All proceeds will benefit the NGCC, helping them shut the door on hunger in our community!
