Garrettsville - As we all know the activities available to the community this summer have been tremendously affected by Covid-19. Typical staples that everyone enjoys such as Summerfest, concerts, and holiday parades have been put off indefinitely. VP Realty has been brainstorming how we can give the community an event to look forward to that is safe and enjoyable.
We came up with the idea of an outdoor movie hosted right here in downtown Garrettsville. Families can sit together safely on blankets or chairs to enjoy the movie while distancing from other groups. When not seated in their viewing spot people will be required to wear a mask per the governor’s mandate and keep safe distances that meet social distancing guidelines.
Garrettsville Cinema has been a great help to this event and is donating the movie for everyone to view. Garrett’s Mill is going to have free ice cream during the event from 6-8 and Cellar Door is offering a free flavor syrup with the purchase of a hot chocolate. The PTO is also going to be a part of this event by providing snacks and a pumpkin patch for visitors to enjoy.
VP Realty would like to invite everyone to this free community event on October 10th. Please bring your blanket and snuggle up to watch the beloved Pixar movie Up outside on the big screen right in downtown Garrettsville on the Buckeye Block. (Corner of Main and Center Street) Movie will start at dark but please come any time after six to get your spot. For more information please visit https://sellvp.com/movie
