Dear Chamber of Commerce Members,

We, the Junior/Senior After-Prom Committee of James A. Garfield High School, are asking for your help in making this year’s after-prom a successful and memorable experience for our junior/senior classes.  The prom and after-prom are scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2023.  We are striving to make the after-prom party a safe, fun, and extra special event for all of our juniors and seniors.


The committee is reaching out to our local businesses, parents, and community members and asking for assistance in raising funds and gathering door prize items for this event.  


Here is how you can help:

  1. Donate a basket for our basket auction.  We are collecting baskets through Friday, March 24th that will be raffled off at a Basket Raffle Event at Slim and Jumbos on Sunday, April 2, 2023 form 1p.m.-3 p.m..  We are also going to post the baskets online and offer online sales before the event for those that can not attend the in person event.  You can find us on Facebook: JAG After Prom Parent Group.


  1. Make a monetary donation to the after-prom committee.  Checks can be made payable to JAG After-Prom Committee.  You can also use Venmo @Holly-Gedeon-75.


  1. Donate door prizes to be raffled at after-prom.
